How to reset the on-board computer (ECM) on a 2006 RAV4 to clear “Maintenance Required” light
- Turn Ignition Switch to “On” position.
- Push Odometer Button to bring up “Trip A”.
- Turn Ignition Switch to “Lock” position.
- Press and hold Odometer Button and turn Ignition Switch to “On” position.
- Continue to hold Odometer Button until odometer reads 00000 miles and “Maintenance Required” light goes off.
