1 lb Lean Ground Beef
1 Onion, halved and thinly sliced
1 Green Bell Pepper sliced
2 Red Bell Peppers sliced
1 tbsp Minced Garlic
1 tbsp Sugar
1 tbsp Cornstarch
2 tsp Ground Mustard
1/4 tsp Ground (Cayenne) Red Pepper
1/2 cup Teriyaki Sauce
1/2 cup Dry Sherry
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
In a small bowl combine all the Sauce ingredients, whisk until smooth; set aside.
In a large nonstick skillet over medium high heat, add some EVOO, when oil. begins to shimmer add Beef and cook until no longer pink, about 5 to 7 minutes, breaking Beef into crumbles; drain and seat aside.
Add some more EVOO, then add the Vegetables, cook until tender crisp about 6 to 8 minutes.
Give the Sauce a quick stir and add to the skillet. Bring to a boil; cook and stir until thickened, about 1 to 2 minutes. Add the Beef and heat through.
