Pan-fried Rainbow Trout
Ingredients
1 lb Rainbow Trout Fillets
1/2 cup Flour
Egg
3 tbsp Lemon Juice
2 tsp Lemon Pepper seasoning
1 tsp Garlic Salt
Paprika
1 tbsp Butter
Olive Oil
Preparation
Mix Egg and Lemon Juice in a small bowl
Mix Flour, Lemon Pepper seasoning, and Garlicc Salt in a large bowl
Pat Fillets dry and arrange on a piece of wax paper
Brush skin side of Fillets with the Egg and Lemon mixture
Dust skin side of Fillets with the Flour and seasoning mixture
Flip Fillets over and repeat process of coating meat side with the Egg and Lelmon mixture,and then dust with the Flour and season in mixture. Sprinkle Fillets with Paprika
Add Olive Oil and Butter to a large hot skillet (325°F or medium high heat) and fry Fillets skin side down first for about 5 minutes, flip and repeat
