Don’t have a suitable Pork Rub on hand (e.g. Szeged’s)? Well fear not. Here’s the MyHogan alternative!
Ingredients
- 3/4 cup packed dark brown sugar (or 1/2 cup if you prefer a more savory rub)
- 2 tablespoons kosher salt
- 2 tablespoons onion powder
- 2 tablespoons smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon dry mustard
- 1 tablespoon granulated garlic
- 1 tablespoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon allspice
Preparation and Use
- Mix all ingredients in a small dish (e.g. custard dish)
- Using fingers, pinch small amounts of Pork Rub and sprinkle onto meat that has been coated with Olive Oil.
