Mushroom Gravy Pork Chops
Ingredients
4 to 6 1/2 inch bone-in Pork Chops
1 Onion, sliced
8 oz Mushrooms, coarse chopped
1/2 cup All Purpose Flour
1 tbsp Garlic Salt
1 tsp Thyme
1/2 tsp Smoked Paprika
1/4 tsp Coarse Ground Black Pepper
1/2 cup Dry Sherry or Marsala
10.5 oz condensed Campbells Golden Mushroom Soup
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Directions
Preheat Oven to 350F.
In a large flat bottomed bowl, mix Flour with the Seasonings, then dredge the Pork Chops in the Flour mixture.
In a large skillet add some EVOO; then over medium high heat brown the Pork Chops. Transfer Chops to a plate.
Add some more EVOO to Skillet and cook the Onions and Mushrooms until the Onions have softened and the Mushroom have started to release their moisture, about 5 to 7 minutes.
Deglaze Skillet with the Sherry. Add the Soup and stir until incorporated; bring to a Boil.
Return Chops to Skillet, and spoon over the Mushroom Onion mixture. Cover Skillet, place in Oven and bake fro 20 to 25 minutes.
