Mushroom Gravy Pork Chops

Ingredients
  • 4 to 6 1/2 inch bone-in Pork Chops
  • 1 Onion, sliced
  • 8 oz Mushrooms, coarse chopped
  • 1/2 cup All Purpose Flour
  • 1 tbsp Garlic Salt
  • 1 tsp Thyme
  • 1/2 tsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1/4 tsp Coarse Ground Black Pepper
  • 1/2 cup Dry Sherry or Marsala
  • 10.5 oz condensed Campbells Golden Mushroom Soup
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Directions
  • Preheat Oven to 350F.
  • In a large flat bottomed bowl, mix Flour with the Seasonings, then dredge the Pork Chops in the Flour mixture.
  • In a large skillet add some EVOO; then over medium high heat brown the Pork Chops. Transfer Chops to a plate.
  • Add some more EVOO to Skillet and cook the Onions and Mushrooms until the Onions have softened and the Mushroom have started to release their moisture, about 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Deglaze Skillet with the Sherry. Add the Soup and stir until incorporated; bring to a Boil.
  • Return Chops to Skillet, and spoon over the Mushroom Onion mixture. Cover Skillet, place in Oven and bake fro 20 to 25 minutes.
  • Serve.
